As Elodie's first Build Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to establish and improve our build and release systems for the game. We deeply believe in creating a highly automated release pipeline for our game and the content workflow systems that support it. You will help define our processes and release strategies to accelerate our development, improve the quality of our builds, and ensure that developers are able to quickly iterate and test their changes.

  • Administration of Elodie's CI/CD systems and infrastructure
  • Design and implement automation handle patch creation, editor build distribution, cooking, deployment, version promotion, test execution and reporting and other critical pipeline systems
  • Maintain a highly reliable build and release environment
  • Working with Developers to gather feedback and requirements for new build jobs and pipelines
  • Advise on best practices CI/CD, Branching Strategies, Code Testing and Deployment Strategies
  • Advise on the latest technologies to improve the qualities of our build systems and reduce costs where possible
  • 4+ years of Build Engineering experience in either the video games or entertainment industry
  • Proficient in Python, Groovy and PowerShell automation
  • Experience with Jenkins administration
  • Experience with Perforce administration
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Unreal build development
  • Experience with build distribution to PC, Mobile and Consoles
  • Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with AWS and other Cloud technology
  • Experience with Docker and other containerization technology
